This is very strange.  I came across this website while searching the internet for a purple angel.  I too lost my only daughter, only child to an illness(cancer).  She passed in Feb. 2003. She was nine years old. Her and Jess sound so similar in many ways.  Purple was my daughters favorite color too.  We fondly remember her with everything purple. Mostly angels and flowers.  She too had dark hair and beautiful skin and a smile that would light up the world.  I live in the United States in Florida.  I am caucasian and my husband is filipino with some spanish in him.  Hence the last name Quindoza.  I am so so sorry for your loss.  I know it is so hard to keep going on without her.  There must be a special place in heaven for purple angels.  Much Love to your family,  Kathy Quindoza Close

Sometimes I wonder if the pain we are enduring is worth it. and  the resounding answer is YES. Not for the world would I have missed knowing you my Jess. The Love, Honour, Beauty,Music and laughter you brought into our lives , money cannot buy. From your first day at Prep you wanted to be a teacher and that you have been to all. You taught Kindness when the teacher asked who would partner a challenged girl, you raised your hand to help her. You taught Patience when you came across a little boy who could not write the number 2, you kept trying till he succeeded ,You always held out a hand to anyone in need in and out of school. Most of all you gave and received unconditional Love. You only have to go by the number of visitors you have to your website, currently the figure is over 37.000 in the space of a little over a year and this is an average of 92 visitors per day. This goes to show I am not the only one who  would not have missed you for the world, moreover I am so glad you belong to us.

Dear Grandma Patricia Jess is with you, I just want to tell you a story about me & my grandma, because I read how much you miss her when I visit her site., I'm sure her love & the missing holding you & kissing you & all that goes both ways, I'm sure shes with you daily but seeing your pain & her being right there yet cant hold you & tell YOU Grandma Im OK & Im setting a nice place for you to be right by me when God calls your name is hurting her angel heart~I am on the other side of the spectrum as they say it~ I lost my Grandma last year & the pain is unbearable, I was close to her as you were with Jess & its so sad when we lose that grandma~grandaughter Love & relationship its not one found everyday, one as close as you & Jess, I cant take your pain but I can tell you what keeps me going every single day is the FACT that I KNOW I WILL SEE HER AGAIN this you gotta believe...You & Jess will be together...Its not going to heal your broken heart that will come when you meet again, but your job here is not done yet I know I hate that too "YOUR JOB" but thats what the bible says & when we've learned what were here for & OUR "JOB" is done we get the reward of meeting up with all we loved & lost!!! Bubba and I came to spend some time with you on the 2nd of July. It was a very cold and windy day - a day that matched our spirits. You had heaps of visitorsfrom family and friends, however the love and support shown by a group of your school friends was truly amazing and uplifting they had to take two buses to get to be with you.  They arrived at 10.45. a.m. and stayed till a little after  4 p.m.-- hats off to your friends, and you for instilling in each other such a strong bond of love and friendship.  I am sure we can all take a leaf out  of this example.  To each of your friends I say " thank you and all the  very best" and to you my precious girl I send "all my love and blessings."
